Conduct functional assessments that meet state regulations and are built upon the concepts of positive behavior supports. Develop behavior support plans and interaction guidelines that utilize ethical, proactive, person centered approaches and meets State standards. Develop methods of tracking effectiveness of behavior support plans. Provide the necessary training (New Employee Training, individual plans, etc) to enable employees to effectively use behavior support plans and interaction guidelines. Regularly review and analyzes data and make changes to plans as necessary. Conduct person centered planning meetings and interviews as needed. Promote self-advocacy and independence by encouraging each individual to identify his/her needs and preferences; and when necessary, provides advocacy on behalf of each individual to ensure appropriate treatment, training and protection of rights. Participate in organizational quality planning, assurance and enhancement processes.

Position covers St. Johnsbury/Derby areas.


Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. BCBA ot VT LBA preferred or working towards BCBA. Experience working with children with emotional behavioral disorders, developmental disabilties, and ASD a must. Experience designing/implementing positive behavior support plans required. Adminstrative and supervisory experience also required. Prefer ABA experience.
