In support of the Manager, assists in overall operation of licensed group home.


Assists in maintaining adequate staff to meet requirements of the program and to supervise, schedule and support staff in the exercise of their duties;

Responsible for prioritizing community safety.
Responsible for assisting in maintaining the facilities in a safe, clean and home-like manner.

Assists in designing and implementing the consumers Individual Support Agreement in conjunction with applicable state, federal, program and agency standards.

Provides in-home support and follow up with medical and programmatic needs of the individuals after successfully completing med delegation.

Provides for the physical, emotional, therapeutic and adaptive needs of the consumers, including but not limited to physical care, training, assistance in daily living skills, and care and supervision of all activities of daily living.

Provides for the safety and general well being of the consumer in a humane and caring manner, including protection from others, protection from exploitation, protection from physical harm and aggressive and/or self injurious behavior, which may require physical intervention by staff in situations where consumers are aggressive.

Demonstrates a capacity to respond non-punitively, and in ways that encourage positive growth, to behavioral challenges and physical demands of the consumer.

Assists consumers in relating to family, community, and other team members in a competent and respectful manner. Provide family support, where deemed therapeutically and legally appropriate by the treatment team, to ensure success of consumers.

Provides direction to staff in carrying out of their duties in a manner consistent with agency policies and in conjunction with the Division Director of Developmental Services Programs.
Must be able to utilize computers and available technology within the NKHS system, i.e., charting assessment results, reports, progress notes, and time sheets in a timely manner as identified by the supervisor, in accordance with state, federal, and program regulations and guidelines.


Associate's degree in human services or equivalent experience in human services field preferred.

Administrative and/or supervisory experience preferred.

Valid driver's license and appropriate insurance required.
