Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, 30 hours/week 


  • Master's degree in human services field preferred.
  • Bachelors with relevant knowledge and experience pertaining to local system of care, normative adoption issues, and the impact of early trauma and attachment disruption essential.


  • Under the supervision of the Early Childhood Program Director you will provide consultation to families, DCF district offices, treatment, or educational teams.
  • Facilitate support group, community education, school trainings or workshops.
  • Provide face to face supports at least monthly that include education topics such as adjusted parenting techniques, impacts of early traumas and attachment disruption, normative adoption issues, behavior management and child and youth family development.
  • Attend workshops, conferences, and professional meetings recommended by Program Director and identified by contractual requirements.
  • Increase knowledge of service providers in the state on unique needs and struggles of parenting children with trauma histories and how to work with families providing permanence to those children.
